So, just like my puppies, I have been super tired lately. We have had a lot of people leaving work lately so I have been picking up shifts and covering for people here and there. Needless to say the extra hours have been taking its toll on me. The only consolation is the 10 hours of overtime that will show up on my next paycheck:-)
Speaking of moo-lah, I got my first energy bill today and it was much lower than I expected. i love saving money. I'm not a tightwad by any means but it is really nice to have a buffer in my checking account.
My Papa will be here tomorrow and will be staying with me for a couple of days. Chris' new house has hardwood floors underneath the carpeting and they will be re-finishing them together.
Lately I have been thinking about how truly wonderful my life is. I mean, I have a place of my own to live, money to spare, a family that loves me and a fabulous boyfriend. What more could I want? So many times I find myself caught in the "if" mindset. If I had a dresser, or if I had money to decorate, if I had more time then my life would be better. But really, when it all comes down to it I have a really great life and to say it again, what more could I really want:-)
